Chief Information Officer

The IT function is under considerable pressure:

  • AI is a cost centre, not a competitive advantage – “We’ve invested in AI and automation, but it’s not making us more innovative.”

  • Data-driven doesn’t mean intelligent – “We have more data than ever, but decision-making is still slow and ineffective.”

  • Tech is fragmented across the organisation – “Every department is adopting AI in silos—there’s no unified intelligence.”

  • AI is being misused (or feared) – “Executives see AI as either a magic bullet or a threat, instead of a tool for organisational intelligence.”

  • The business still doesn’t ‘get’ tech – “We implement solutions, but leadership still treats tech as an afterthought.”

  • Cybersecurity and trust in AI – “If AI is going to guide decisions, how do we make sure it’s secure, unbiased, and explainable?”

With increasing disruption, the issues are only going to increase.

At the AEI, we are developing an implementable framework to address this. We believe that organisations need a human + machine intelligence model where AI enhances real-time decision-making instead of just automating processes.

Please reach out. We host exclusive, no vendors, invitation-only executive gatherings to explore these challenges. We regularly produce relevant content that reflects how the world is changing and thus how our framework is evolving.
